What's in my makeup bag?

My daily makeup, and their pro's and con's

 Foundation- Cover Girl Tru Blend

I have recently started using Cover Girl's Tru Blend liquid makeup. This product retails for about $7-$10. I find it to be light on my face, and does a good job as a base to my makeup. It doesn't always last all day at school though, which are usually around 8 hour days. There is a large amount in the bottle as well. The color matches PERFECTLY with my skin. I love it!

Concealer-  Cover Girl Invisible Concealer

I have been using Cover Girl's concealer for about 5 months. It retails for about $6-$8. Its worth the money. This isn't my favorite product iv'e ever used. but for the price you pay and the amount you get in the container its worth it. The colors are a little off for my face, but a little blending and you can't tell at all!

Loose powder- Cover Girl Professional

This product is a DREAM. I cant think of a single reason why I would ever change powders. It ranges from $7-9. I have lots of acne and it does a very good job at adding extra covering. I have noticed that no matter what I do the lid will crack down the middle. It is still usable though, the lid just gets a little loose.

Mascara- Cover Girl Flamed Up Mega Curl

When you need a all day wear on your mascara this is the way to go. This mascara ranges from $7-$8. It really gives your lashes the extra pop they need to get all the boys lookin. The wand is curved to allow for volume. I get the very black color.

I try to keep my makeup to the bare minimum in the mornings, I think we all would getting up at 6 AM. Here are some other things I switch out occasionally, or use when I feel like a change.

Elf's Basic Mascara in Very Black
Forever 21's High Pigment Gloss in Strawberry
Elf's lip color stick for lips in baby pink
Mac lipsticks
Neutrogena's coverage concealer

I also buy all my Sponges for my foundation from Elf, I am a sponges instead of brush kind of gal. I've found that the brush leaves marks and just smears it around. Sponges seem to blend more easily.

DIY Fix your broken makeup!

DIY fix your broken makeup! All you need is rubbing achol!

Step 1: I first poured some into the cap so I didn't accidentally spill way more than I needed in the makeup. Then, I just poured enough to where the alcohol was at the top of my container.
\
Step 2: I just took the brush from the makeup and started to smudge it around.

Then I realized a finger would work just as well.

Step 3: Wait....... It took my blush about 3 hours to dry completely.

And that's it!

DIY Chalk color your hair!

So, a while back a friend told me I should try to chalk dye my hair. I have very blonde hair so my results where pretty vibrant.
   Things you will need.
      -chalk pastels
      -blow dryer
      -straighter (or curling iron.)
      -water
Step 1: I started by just straightening my hair and brushing it out.

Step 2: Section your hair out into different little clips. Or, I just put mine back in a pony tail and pulled my hair out as I went.
Step 3: I just twisted the hair around so it was a spiral, and got the whole section wet.

Step 4: Pick your color of choice from your pastels.
I ended up with my brightest pink.

Step 5: I found out that if I got my hands and chalk wet also it helped. Then, I just started to rub the chalk along my hair and it went on surprising easy for me. I then found that keeping it in a spiral only got the outside so I just flattened it out and got it all colorful.

Step 6: Just blow dry the colorful section.

Step 7:After it drys then I curled mine with my straightener.
Then, I started over with blue. I couldn't curl that one for some reason so I had to leave it straight.

It was a bit messy in my sink after but with a little water it came right out. It also kind of dyes your hands as well, which also comes off with a little soap and water. I was pretty sad the blue wouldn't curl but, hair has a mind of it's own at times.
I also found that it didn't all the way come out with a shower. After the first one you still could kind of tell there was color left. But, after my second my hair was completely back to normal!

My results my 2nd time.
